The plot is located at Musashino area facing a highway in a recessed site. This project started with the plot they spent much time on finding out.

The master is working at an IT associated company and his wife is an agent of a champagne associated company. The plot is a semi-size zone sandwiched by medium-rise houses and thus we adopted a 3-stories steel structure.

The ground floor adopts a cantilever structure to hold a pilotis garage. To solve the north slant limit, the façade shapes trapezoid with openings arranged at random. As a result SWING looks toward the front street with the peculiar face. The 1st floor lays a water area and the second floor holds a kids room for the near future and an open bedroom for WIC and wardrobes. Taking the advantages of the trapezoid box, the top floor with abundant natural light lays a spacious studio for the whole family. SWING harmonizes with the slight void of the urban city with its delicate and nimble shape.
